Once Upon a Time...

there was a movement of people who believed in the future and the common good. They were normal people, our grandparents, union members, teachers, housewives, farmers and shopkeepers. This political movement helped the country to survive capitalism's greatest disaster – the Great Depression.

We survived and thrived. We fought the good fight and we won. We had public transportation, organized meaningful work programs with government healthcare, and compassionate government. We had progressive income tax and started social security. In short we had a government that acted like it cared instead of just saying it cared. Then a war came and we forgot. We made our dreams come true. Let us remember again.

to give you the listener the skills and abilities that will lead to your success in the political sphere of your life. Everyone no matter what there political stance deserves to have the same ability to seek office, effect policy and effect change in society using political skills.

We believe that an educated, informed, enlightened and participating electorate will translate into a educated, informed and enlightened government. We believe that government functions best when the people make up the parts of the whole government.

that once you know how to use the levels of power to influence your community and your life that you will choose to make your life better and that you will make your world a better place. We believe that Americans are essentially good people. That our country's character is progressive and liberal throughout our long history.
